Jennie Darnell

Jennie works as both a Television and Theatre director.  She studied at the Universities of London and Sheffield where she gained her MA in Theatre and Film. She also completed the BBC Director’s Training Course. Her many episodes of EASTENDERS include ‘Pat’s Death’ and ‘Billie’s Death’ episodes (which helped win the 2011 ‘Continuing Drama’ BAFTA and the 2011 RTS ‘Soap and Continuing Drama’ award) and the ‘Whitney Week’ episodes (RTS award ‘Soap and Continuing Drama’ 2009). She also directed the EASTENDERS ‘LAST TANGO IN WALFORD’ 25th ANNIVERSARY DVD.
