Robbie Butler
Originally from Ireland and based in the UK, Robbie is one of only a handful of people to have been awarded a lifetime membership of the Association for Lighting and Production Design.
He was a leading figure in the 2018 #SaveStageLighting campaign: an international drive which sought to safeguard the accessibility to the lighting instruments and equipment that are most commonly used in theatres across Europe from proposed changes to EU law.
Having trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, he has won an Off West End award for Best Lighting Design and was the winner of the 2015 ETC Award.
